In these days everybody says "follow your passions", "do what makes your heart beats", "trust your gut" and so on... it seems pretty easy, right?
Actually, it's not.
What if, we don't know what our passion or talent is or we have not idea about what our gut says?
What if we realize that we don't know what we want from life and seems that nothing rocks our heart?
First, let me tell you one thing from the heart: if you feel your story is related to this, I tell you, you're not alone. Instead most of the people struggle with that, even if the "follow what you love" topic is huge on pop culture.
The fundamental principles of follow what you love way to live is positive, however pop culture tends to show just the surface and promoting ordinary life styles.
In fact, many people pretend to live a burning passion, pursuing their purposes because everything out there says they have to have a burning passion.
Pretending to pursue a purpose is the easiest way to be accepted by other people today. If you're here, you're not like these guys, you're looking for your real you.
Take a second to congratulate yourself for that. It's going to be a brave an exciting journey!
We use to think that finding passions for young people is easier than for mature. But it's not.
Live a life that you want and follow your passion is not an obvious concept. Instead is a marvelous, profound and unique journey.
We see super exciting life styles on social media but the true of real life is that responsibilities bring us to the outside of ourself.
We have to forget about "what we love to do" because we have to take care of family and pay the bills.
We have not feel depressed or less smart than other people because of that. On the opposite, we should be proud of our courageous journey. However, at some point we realize that we forget about ourself.
We feel dried, sad, and seems that nothing can moves towards our passion.
The inner side of ourself seems gone, maybe because we don't talk to it for too long. It felt alone, and it left.
That happens because we lived for everybody else for too much time, and not for ourself. We forgot what we love to do because we forgot about ourself.
And that's why I'm writing this post, I hope to help you to reconnect your heart, mind and spirit.
“The thinks you're passionate about are not random, they are your calling”
Before we step into the actionable and spiritual ways you can implement to discover or find your passion again, here are some crucial rules to keep in mind:
• Finding your passion is much more than a list of things to do:
You have to use your mind, your body and your soul.
• Finding your fire and live for that is NOT a must in life. May you're a multi-passionate girl, you love many things, and no one of them is more important than others.
• This is NOT a race or a a competition.
This is huge because it's easy to follow our path when we have a strong way to walk, and when we know what's drives us. Comparison and jugging, at the opposite, are the real enemies to fire.
Training yourself to avoid any kind of jugging or comparison is crucial here.
It's a process.
If you find you in a position to judge yourself, please pass away and be kind with yourself. Mind you're walking an exciting and joyful journey, be positive and don't look back.
Walking the path to discovering your purposes and passions is the ultimate privilege. The majority of people on the planet can not even dream to do that.
If you live in a free Country, pursuing your purposes and find your joy is your duty because it's the way to give your best to the world, no matter how big or small your world is.
We have to give our best, even for those who can not.
“Don’t worry about what the world needs. Ask what makes you come alive and do that, because what the world needs is people who have come alive.”
The 8 Ways to Discover your Passion and live your Real Life:
1) SLOW DOWN AND TAKE A FEW MINUTES FOR YOU
Going back to yourself is crucial here. You need more time to stay with you frankly talking to the most important people of our life, you.
You could go out for daily walks, practice yoga, write, draw or listen to your breath and meditate for example.
